Bratislava Declaration of Young Researchers published

On 19 July 2016 the Bratislava Declaration of Young Researchers was presented at the Competitiveness Council. This declaration – written by young researchers – calls on Member States and the European Commission to recognise the special role that young researchers play in research.

On 25 July 2016 the European Commission has published an update of the H2020 Work Programme 2016/17. This update which includes numerous changes and additions replaces the original version of this Work Programme.

RESAVER Pension Fund formally established

After three years of preparation, three founding members of RESAVER, the Central European University (CEU), the Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and the Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC-ERIC), formally signed in to set up the RESAVER Pension Fund on 14 July 2016.

Launch of the Call for Expression of Interest to select a new member of the EIT Governing Board

The EIT has launched the call for expression of interest for the selection of one appointed member of the EIT Governing Board. The EIT Governing Board is entrusted with providing the strategic leadership of the Institute. It is independent and autonomous in its decision-making and is in particular responsible for the selection, designation and evaluation of the EIT’s Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).
