EU Funding Coaching

The EU Funding Coaching is an interactive workshop on European research funding with a thematic focus on individual research fields. It offers participants advice on participation in Horizon Europe and on positioning themselves in the EU funding landscape, in a way that’s adapted to their individual starting positions and needs.

Intended audience: Small groups of scientists and decision-makers as well as responsible multipliers from a specific research area (e.g. faculties and departments, university and non-university research institutes, research or excellence Clusters or special research areas).

Contents: The focus of the coaching is flexible and will be agreed together in advance of the workshop. The following aspects can be covered:

• Identifying suitable funding opportunities within Horizon Europe (focus: collaborative research)

• Developing ideas on positioning and networking at European level

• Insight into the current research policy context for specific research fields

Duration: half a day

Location: on site at the respective institution, on request at the KoWi offices in Brussels or Bonn or virtually

EU funding coaching is free of charge for the institution applying.
