The implementation of a Horizon 2020 project is linked to reporting on the use of the funding and the project’s scientific progress. The legal basis for this is article 18 of the Grant Agreement (GA). The reports serve the Commission as a basis for the project’s evaluation and for further payments to the coordinator.
The length of the reporting periods is fixed in art. 20 of the GA. It is usually 18 months, but depends on the specific project.
