Biodiversa+ announces call for project proposals and information event

The European Partnership Biodiversa+ has announced its second joint call for proposals on "Improved transnational monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem change for science and society". The call is scheduled to open on 8 September 2022. 33 countries are participating; the total budget is expected to be around EUR 40 million.
Biodiversa+ will offer an online information session for potential applicants on 20 September, 15:00-16:30, for which you can already register.
Biodiversa+ is a Co-funded European Partnership for biodiversity research in Horizon Europe. It continues the previous BiodivERsA ERA-NET, which received funding from Horizon 2020. The new Biodiversa+ was officially launched on October 1st, 2021. Biodiversa+ will contribute to the EU Biodiversity strategy for 2030.
The partners of Biodiversa+ are 75 research programmers, funders and environmental policy actors from over 30 EU and associated countries. Among other activities, Biodiversa+ organises its own calls for proposals, which are co-funded by the EU.
