Co-financed fellowship programmes

Fellowship programmes for experienced researchers should focus on the individual research training and career development. The selection process of the fellows should be based on international peer-review and follow the standards of the European Charter for Researchers.

Co-funded fellowships should be open to all research fields and the fellows should have the freedom to choose their Host Institution. Thematic limitations of the fellowships are possible, however, a high flexibility for the fellows should be guaranteed. Besides the transnational mobility, fellows should have the opportunity to include intersectoral mobility into their fellowship.

Fellows should not be employed for less than three months.
