KoWi-seminars “EU-Kompakt I and II”
The KoWi-seminars “EU-Kompakt I and II” offer a practical introduction to EU research funding and provide in-depth knowledge about interrelations, strategic aspects and communication channels in Brussels.
The entire European research and innovation funding, especially the European Union’s Research and Innovation Framework Programme “Horizon 2020”, becomes increasingly important for universities, research centres, and individual researchers. It offers funding for cooperative research, for the training of young scientists, and for excellent basic research. Additionally, it supports research capacity building.
In spite of all simplification efforts, the variety of new programme structures, funding instruments, and actors pursuing different objectives makes European research and innovation appear more and more complex. Moreover, with the increasing focus on projects results and products close to the market and industry’s prominent role in “agenda setting” researchers and research managers are facing new challenges.
The successful concept of KoWi’s “EU-Kompakt” seminars addresses all these aspects and is also characterized by its practical relevance tailored to different levels of experience. Current dates for the seminar may be found in the KoWi events section of this website.
