Collaborative Research

Climate Action...

Cross-cutting-aspects

Climate adaptation will be mainstreamed in the entire Specific Programme. Call topics in almost all Societal Challenges are supposed to generate better knowledge about climate impacts on human health, plants, animals, production systems, marine eco-systems and aquacultures, urban spaces, infrastructure and disaster resilience.

Resource efficiency will also be targeted in projects in the "Industrial Leadership" programme: e.g. advanced materials, which should be recyclable and have a minor impact on the environment and resources.

Proposals concerning topics within this Societal Challenge might also be eligible for funding in the framework of funding lines such as "Future and Emerging Technologies" -"FET Open" (bottom-up) or "FET Proactive" (topic-related)-, if they involve high-risk, visionary and interdisciplinary topics for the development of future technologies.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions offer possibilities for cooperative research in doctoral training networks on a bottom-up basis.
