Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions have existed as European mobility measures since 1997. Their aim is to provide a qualitative and quantitative boost by supporting researchers engaged in research and innovation in Europe, i.e. to promote individual career development that helps them become innovative researchers. Mobility plays a central role in this: international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral academic research / projects are promoted, which broadens and deepens individual research competences. This also leads to institutional structuring effects.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions have a budget of EUR 6,6 billion throughout the entire duration of Horizon Europe (2021-2027). The funding lines are open to all research areas and support projects from basic research to market development. A distinction is made between a total of five specific funding lines:

KoWi Service

KoWi advises you as a researcher or as an EU officer and administrator of a German institution on all funding lines of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, from application to implementation (project management). In addition to counselling, we also support you with information events at universities and research institutions as well as Webinars and other virtual information and counselling services.

In the run-up to your application, we offer you a free consultation service in which we read through your applications. To ensure an optimal consultation process, please send us the complete application documents preferably three weeks prior to the submission deadline so that we can provide you with feedback in good time. After this date, we can only offer you a detailed feedback if our capacities allow it.

Please note that KoWi and the NCP MSCA inform each other on submitted proposals, as we do not have the capacities to both provide feedback on your MSCA proposals. No personal data will be exchanged in this process.
