European Training Networks (ETN)

European Training Networks (ETN) will be submitted by a consortium of at least 3 research institutions in different EU Member States and/or Associated Countries. The proposal is based on a joint research and innovation project. Institutions from third countries can be integrated into the network.

Key to the composition of the consortium is the integration of "non-academic parters" (industry, authorities, non- governmental organisations, museums or consultancies, ...) which could be potential employers for the doctoral candidates and contribute to the training programme of the network (training courses, secondments, tranineeships, soft skills). The training programme should encorporate the "EU Principles for Innovative Doctoral Training".
