Cluster “Climate, Energy and Mobility” 2023-2024
The Work Programme 2023-2024 of the cluster “Climate, Energy and Mobility” comprises a budget of approximately EUR 2,76 billion for calls, contributions on the relevant missions and other acitivites.
The calls of the work programme are assigned to six thematic priorities ("destinations") defined in the Strategic Plan 2021-22024, each of which contains several calls which in turn contain the individual topics.
Destination 1 – Climate sciences and responses for the transformation towards climate neutrality (budget EUR 220,5 million)
- Two calls in 2023, one of which for EU-China cooperation; one call in 2024
Destination 2 – Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition (budget EUR 274 million)
- Two calls each in 2023 and 2024
Destination 3 – Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply (budget EUR 1023,6 million)
- Three calls in 2023, two calls in 2024
Destination 4 – Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use (budget EUR 208 million)
- Two calls each in 2023 and 2024
Destination 5 – Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes (budget EUR 419,05 million)
- One call each in 2023 and 2024
Destination 6 – Safe, Resilient Transport and Smart Mobility services for passengers and goods (budget EUR 231 million)
- One call each in 2023 and 2024
In all calls of this work programme the single stage proposal procedure is applied. The first calls open on 13 December 2022 and end in March or April 2023.
