KoWi seminar EU-Kompakt I in Bonn: Save the Date

On 23-25 April 2024, KoWi’s Bonn office will once again host the first part of the EU-Kompakt seminars on European research funding. The aim of EU-Kompakt I is to provide a comprehensive introduction into the European Union’s Research Framework Programme.

What is on offer? The seminar is aimed specifically at newcomers of the topic of EU research funding and requires no prior knowledge. It offers a fundamental knowledge on structures, procedures, programme content and funding instruments European research funding.

The agenda includes topics such as the basics of EU research policy and the main funding lines of the current European Research Framework Programme, completed by sessions on project management and hands-on exercises. It is also planned host external experts contributing to the seminar. Networking activities will also be part of the programme, both among participants and with KoWi staff.

Registration for EU-Kompakt I will open in February 2024 and will be announced in our KoWi newsletter. Affiliation with a German university/public research institution or affiliation with an institution of the KoWi supporting association is an important prerequisite for participation. The seminar fee will be EUR 150,-. Participants are asked to take care of accommodation and travel arrangements themselves. We recommend to bring a digital device to use the slides that will be distributed in advance. The seminar is held in German.
