Extension of deadline for Horizon Impact Award 2022

In January 2022, the European Commission launched the Horizon Impact Award for EU-funded research and innovation projects whose results have a high societal relevance or added value for Europe and the world (s. Newsletter of 14 January 2022).  The prize, worth €25,000 each, aims to highlight the wider societal and economic benefits of investing in research and innovation.

Only projects that were selected for funding under the 7th Framework Programme or Horizon 2020, and that have proven to meet the criterion of the above-mentioned impact, are eligible to apply.

The deadline for submission of applications has been extended to 6 April 2022 (originally 8 March 2022).
