EU Missions Work Programme updated and Info Day

The establishment of missions is a novelty in Horizon Europe and aims to address some of the biggest challenges facing our society in the five areas of “Adaptation to Climate Change”, “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030”, “A Soil Deal for Europe”, “Cancer” and “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart cities by 2030”.
 
At the end of September, the implementation phase of the missions was launched with the publication of a communication from the European Commission and the implementation plans for the respective missions (see KoWi-Newsletter of 1 October 2021). As a next step, the Work Programme 2021-2022 for the missions was updated on 15 December 2021. The calls for proposals for the five missions contained therein will be presented by the European Commission at an<b> Info Day on 18/19 January 2022</b>. No prior registration is needed for this event.
