Guidance document for the calculation of unit costs in clinical studies

30. Aug 2018

In Horizon 2020 the European Commission provides a new cost calculation method for clinical studies carried out in the context of EU projects funded in the Societal Challenge 1 „Health, demographic change and wellbeing“. The use of unit costs aims at reducing the administrative burden for beneficiaries. Key to the successful application of the unit cost method is the close cooperation between science and administration for the calculation of unit costs. To facilitate this process a group of experts has prepared a guidance document to explain the various steps and give practical examples.
