International dimension
International Cooperation in the Security Research activities will be implemented in line with internal and external aspects of Community policies. Due to the particular sensitivity of this area, international cooperation will be decided on a case-by-case basis concerning the involved countries.
Specific actions within the framework of international cooperation will be considered where there is mutual benefit, such as research relating to security actions of worldwide applicability, e.g. accomplishment of large-scale disasters. Particular requirements and criteria for international cooperation can be defined in the annual research agenda.
