IMI - JTI Innovative Medicines
The Joint Technology Initiative Innovatie Medicines is implemented by the Joint Undertaking Innovative Medicines, arisen from the European Technology Platform for Innovative Medicines.

The Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership between the pharmaceutical industry and the European Union. The JU has a total budget of 2 billion EUR at its disposal, of which 1 billion EUR comes from FP7 and 1 billion EUR as a contribution in kind from the participating EFPIA enterprises. more...

ARTEMIS - JTI Advanced Research & Technology for Embedded Intelligence and Systems
The Joint Technology Initiative ARTEMIS is implemented by the Joint Undertaking ARTEMIS, which builds on the work of the European Technology Platform ARTEMIS, founded in 2004. ARTEMIS concentrates on Embedded Computing Systems. The objective is to preserve and reinforce the European leadership in the fields of design, development and application of ubiquitous, cost efficient, interoperable and save systems.

By 2017, ARTEMIS will realise a 10-year research programme on Embedded Computing Systems, with a budget of 2.5 billion EUR, of which 400 million EUR will be provided by FP7 and the rest will be financed by the member states in ARTEMIS and the industry. more...

ENIAC - JTI Nanoelectronics, European Nanoelectronics Initiative Advisory Council
The Joint Initiative on Nanoelectronics is based on the work of the European Technology Platform „European Nanoelectronics Initiative Advisory Council” (ENIAC), which was founded in 2004 by the industrial association AENEAS. The budget of the Joint Undertaking ENIAC amounts to EUR 3 billion in the period from 2008 to 2017. This includes EUR 450 million from the Seventh Framework Programme and EUR 2.55 billion as co-funding from private companies and the Member States. more...

Clean Sky - JTI Aeronautics and Air Transport
The Joint Technology Initiative Aeronautics and Air Transport is implemented by the Joint Undertaking “Clean Sky”, which is built on the work of the European Technology Platform “Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research in Europe”. ACARE is an industrial public-private partnership, established between private aviation companies and the European Union, represented by the European Commission.

The budget of the Joint Undertaking amounts to 1.6 billion EUR, of which 800 million EUR come from the Seventh Framework Programme of the EU and another 800 million EUR from the private aviation companies, their affiliates and subcontractors, over the period from 2008 to 2013. more...
