What should be considered concerning the composition of the team, in particular as regards mobility, status, etc.?
The composition of the research team must reflect the nature and objectives of the project. In general, a research team will involve the Principal Investigator and other researchers associated with the Principal Investigator's host institution. Team members can be of any nationality, age and occupational status. Furthermore, research teams may also involve team members from other research facilities or even team members located in non-European third countries.
Due to the establishment of the ERC Synergy Grants, the position of a Co-Investigator has been abandoned.
