KoWi (EU liaison Office of German Research Organisations) offers a wide spectrum of services helping German researchers to implement the European Framework Programme as well as to manage long-term projects. KoWi’s services draw upon 15 years of experience as an interlinking organisation that mediates between the EU institutions and German researchers and research organisations. The headquarters of KoWi are based in Bonn and Brussels, thus providing for tight-knit networking with policy makers on national and European levels. This structure expediates competent information management, individual and target-group-oriented consulting, as well as organizing a large spectrum of events and training programmes.

Information management:
The major focus is the procurement of facts and background information about European research promotion and politics. For this purpose KoWi offers various publications and online-information.

Consulting:
KoWi offers telephone, email or personal onsite consulting services for the application and implementation process of European research programmes in the KoWi-offices in Bonn and Brussels or at your institution. This applies particularly to programmes offered by the European Research Council (ERC), programmes that provide funding for young researchers, as well as European and international consortiums doing collaborative research.

Event and Training programme:
KoWi offers systematic and moduled information events and training. These help to identify research activities to be sponsored, contribute to the building of networks with representatives of the European research community and offer practical answers to the multifaceted questions arising throughout the implementation process of projects.
