Research abroad is an essential part of a scientist's career. The funding schemes of the European Commission provide a wide range of possibilities with regard to reseachers' mobility: The "Marie Curie Actions" offer support and funding for junior researchers from university graduates and doctoral students to postdocs on a European and international level.
KoWi provides information and advice on PhD and postdoctoral (funding) programmes of the European Union. KoWi also organizes information events on the spot. In addition, KoWi’s "Active Information Service" (AiD) informs about vacancies for young researchers.
KoWi does not have any financial means to support young researchers but provides information and advice on the European programmes for young researchers.

The KoWi services comprise amongst others the proof reading and commenting of proposals with a host institution in Germany. In order to ensure high-quality counselling, please send your proposal four weeks prior to the deadline to a KoWi staff member, latest on 31 July 2013.
