Due to the publication of the fifth call for proposals by the 'Innovative Medicines Initiative' (IMI) Joint Undertaking, IMI will hold an Open Info Day on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza – Le Palace Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.

Information on the indicative call topic can be found on the IMI web portal.

Experts involved in ongoing IMI projects will give an overview on the fifth call for proposals and provide information about proposal submission, evaluation procedures and intellectual property. In addition, the day will include a presentation of the topic 'European lead factory: Joint European compound library and screening centre'. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities and IMI staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Registration will be open shortly and a link to the registration form, as well as the preliminary agenda, will soon be available via the IMI website.

IMI mainly encourages small and medium-sized enterprises, patient organisations, regulatory authorities, academic teams, industry, hospitals and other organisations with an interest in IMI projects to take part in the Open Info Day.
