CIP: launch of the 6th ICT PSP call for proposals scheduled for early February

The draft ICT PSP Work Programme 2012 has been approved by the CIP ICT Committee . The work programme is still subject to the formal approval by the Commission (expected in January 2012).

The launch of the 6th call for proposals in the ICT Policy Support Programme of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) is scheduled for February 1, 2012.

The call with a foreseen budget of EUR 127 Mio. will be open until May 15, 2012. (pending to the formal approval)

CIP-ICT PSP-2011-6 covers five themes:

  1. ICT for "smart cities
  2. Digital content, open data and
  3. ICT for health, ageing well and inclusion
  4. ICT for innovative government and public services
  5. Trusted e-services and other actions

An information day on the 6th ICT PSP call in Brussels is in preparation for the February 3, 2012.

Updated information will be made available on the web portal of the ICT-PSP.

Update: On February 3, 2012, the 6th call for proposals has been launched. Deadline for submission of proposals is May 15, 2012.
