The European Commission has published two calls for proposals in the Specific Programme ‘People’ – for the Initial Training Networks (ITN) and for the Industry Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP).

The objective Intial Training Networks is to fund joint research training programmes in European research consortia. The available budget amounts to EUR 318 million. The deadline for proposals will be January 26, 2011.

The Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways scheme provides financial support for cross-border staff-exchange between at least two organisations, one from each sector and from at least two different EU-Member States or Associated Countries. The available budget amounts to EUR 80 million. The deadline for this call for proposals is December 7, 2010.
