Which evaluation panel is concerned with interdisciplinary research projects?
There is no "interdisciplinary panel" which is responsible for the evaluation of interdisciplinary proposals. It is the responsibility of the Principal Investigator (PI) to choose and indicate the most relevant evaluation panel ("primary evaluation panel"). In case of a multidisciplinary research project, the PI can indicate a second evaluation panel. Additionally, the PI can indicate one or more ERC keywords representing the research fields involved in the panel. The panel chairs will allocate the proposal accordingly. The primary evaluation panel will decide whether it is necessary to ask additional experts to evaluate the respective proposal, e.g. experts from other evaluation panels.
