The Specific Programme "Capacities" will fund research and innovation capacities by a total ‎amount of around € 4.097 bn. Funding will be targeted at research infrastructures, support for research by small and medium-sized enterprises, regional research and innovation clusters, ‎research activities in less-developed regions of "convergence", issues regarding "science and society" and horizontal activities of international cooperation
